So Christmas is not that far away and I'm already thinking of gift ideas. I was thinking about getting my Dad one of those smart balance board segway things. Problem is, I have no idea where to get one, who makes the best ones, who's the most affordable, and how good the quality is. Anyone have experience with these and can lead me in the right direction?

I don't know if this is true but I heard there illegal to drive on pavements, public areas and roads? Stupid but still

Wouldn't adivse you to buy one off ebay , unless its got a shit ton of reviews and stuff.

Look around online , your not buying an IO-Hawk right? 2k?

It would only be illegal if it were to have a petrol motor. Other than that, its just like a scooter/bike.

Buying it off of ebay is much better as companies are just re-branding the boards and selling them for 1-2k. Ebay has a lot of them for cheap and are exactly like the io-hawk.

ive road one of these and theyre not all that cool. id recommend maybe iphone 6+ as a gift instead.
