Muller is better at a CF because of his high/high workrates.

OUT OF THE WAY, LET THE MULLER EXPERT COME THROUGH!

I played over 1.000 games with Muller in Fifa 15 and I already have about 150 with him this year. He's an amazing player in my opinion, but like RL9 said his H/H work rates make him push too far back at times, leaving you with basically no real striker during quick counter attacks. His positioning is very good. He's also a deadly finisher, he's one of those players who barely ever miss a good opportunity.

I tried him at ST in a 433(4), as a CF in a 433(5) and as a CAM in a 433(4) and 4231(2). Don't get me wrong, he was a good striker, but he's a much, much better CAM. He's still there for you to make great finesse shots and he'll be in the box pretty often to look for rebounds and stuff too. But his dribbling isn't too amazing which leads to silly ball losses in tight situations sometimes. Kind of reminds me of Matthaus last year.

If you feel like trying Muller, get Aubameyang or Lewandowski in front of him as a ST. That works better than playing him at ST directly in my opinion. But of course, you'd need to try it yourself to see what you think about him.

Couldn't agree more with this, Muller is a better CF/CAM..
