002 wrote If OP played football, we could see that football may have caused him a head injury. Why did I highlight the word "cause"? To show the OP the proper use of the word "cause". Let's review your title. "FOOTBALL IS EASY CAUSE THEY HAVE PADS" Is it that hard to put "BE" in front of "CAUSE"?

Just screwing with ya OP lol, football is very much still dangerous. How I honestly view the pads is such like this. Picture the person tackling you as trying to slice you with a blade. The pads make it so it is a blunt object so you get a bruise, not an open wound. You can have an open wound from just being kicked. Often times I think the pads should be replaced with 2x4's as they are probably the same density lol. All the pads do is take a centered blow and disperse it over a larger area.

If you think football pads have the same density of 2x4's, you really should do some research.

Let me just say, I am 6'5" 305 lbs. I am as big, if not bigger than most NFL linemen.

Now, I am a Senior in Highschool and I play football. My school also has a Rugby team, I have been to a few of the Rugdy games in the past and there's only one real difference; Rudgy is more of a 'contact' sport. In rugby, they're purposely trying to hit you. In football, you're trying to stop someone, whether it be the person with the ball, or trying to block another player.

Football has harder hits than Rugby, of course we have more padding. Any Rugby player who says Rugby players are more physical than football players obviously does not have any clue what it takes.
