Sundown wrote so I play Table Tennis for England yeah woopty doo

lol

2 years seems like a better agreement. I'd just assume you'd be there for 280-300 days out of the year.

Not a bad gig if you get even a bit of money out of it.

Yes I agree Two years seems fair enough but apparently its not enough, like 2 years of training wont be enough 4 years it too much. haha

This is all down to you personally what you feel you want to do. But as you state, you've worked countless hours for 8 years so why pass up the oppurtunity of a lifetime that could change your career and your life potentially? Im sure if you ask them they probably would let you come back to england to visit your family. Just think about it to yourself and remember its your decision nobody else's.

I couldn't agree more when you say about it being a lifetime opportunity I just get worried about things happening to family if you know what I mean, as my granddad died last year and he was the one who took me to training for the past 8 years so that was soo hard for me.

Sit down and have a chat with your friends and family, discuss everything with them. You'll always have the option to visit from time to time, they cannot keep you in that specific location for every second of the 4 years.

I have sat down with family and discussion the pro's and cons, of going but its the fact that I don't want to go just in case anything happens to family while im gone.

Go for it, if it's something you enjoy and you have the chance to go proffesional because of it then you should take it with both hands, you'll probably never get the chance again.

You're only 10 hours away, you can always go back and visit so don't think of it as if you won't seem them for 4 years.

Talk to the people offering you a place about paid flights home, tell them you're easily homesick and don't want to leave your family. They might be willing to give you some trips home and pay for them.
