What is the point in spending stupid amounts of money on something that makes shit noises and brights up the sky? I really don't see the point in them. I'd sooner spend my money on clothes.

Just a mini rant. What's your opinion on them?

I think of it as it lights up the sky so you can see and celebrate the life of your loved lost ones.
So they dont really bother me i quite like them.

Well that is their choice. Its like people looking at gamers wondering who the hell would waste all their time gaming and spending money on games??... its entertainment.

It's a festive thing. You don't need to celebrate it, it's not pointless, if it's pointless then so's Easter, Halloween, etc etc.

Personally I think their fun to watch!

Only happens once a year don't see why some people get so angry about it Its fun it bring loads of people together to see the wonderful and colourful fireworks.

Its just something many people enjoy for holidays. I see no problem with it.

If it bothers you that much, move to where its illegal, problem solved.
