Hello, so about 1 hour and 30 minutes ago I applied Artic 5 or whatever thermal paste, when im playing games my CPU is running about 65C and when im just idle its around 40C. Are these temps safe and supposed to be around this range? I have an i5-4440

no point going mad on a cooler with a locked chip, 212 is ok but it is taller than most things and that can cause compatibility issues, plus is a right pain to install.
How much are you spending or willing to spend on a cooler?

Just get a Cryorig H7, they're about $35 from Newegg, nice coolers and will do perfectly well with a locked chip. Shouldn't have any RAM issues with it.
