That's how I live and I respect other people when they respect my opinion on religion

it's allowed to be ridiculed especially for everything it's doing to the world.
all the separation of people, women that are having their full potential stopped and being force to not have an education(middle east), stem cell research being destroyed by fundamentalist christians, morons running for president(ben carson thinks the devil made evolution), abortion clinics being blown up, paris being attacked, the dark ages, people's ideas being ridiculed if it doesn't go along with god, gays being hated.

Agnosticism really is a happy medium. If you can listen to others talk about their beliefs and be respectful, regardless of what you believe in then you're just a tolerant person.
I'm with you on this, it isn't for me, but I can listen to someone go off about anything they believe in passionately as long as their beliefs aren't belittling other groups. And I feel like there aren't enough people that are like this. I always see how people either identify as religious or atheist. But blindly denying that something is real with no proof is almost as silly as blindly following something with no proof, in my opinion anyway. Gotta be somewhere in the middle if you aren't convinced, I mean, what do you really have to lose. Say all of the things are true, how great would it be if heaven is real. I'm not going to "waste" my entire life securing my slot in a potential afterlife, but if it somehow turns out to be true then I'm not going to be one to complain.

tl;dr if you don't follow a religion, just be a decent human being anyway
