Razorback seems to do work with silencer and extended clip. Argus is just a monster on Hardcore with long barrel and rapid fire, one shot enemies for days and at a ridiculous range for a shotgun. Other than that, I've been using the XR-2 and Man-O-War on maps where long range is more suited.

But in smg way i would go for VMP
Pharo got nerfed in the patch and the vmp got buffed
