Am I the only one who finds it crazy that people struggle so much over a Like, Thumbs Up, Fav, or Thanks? This generation has gotten to the point where if you don't receive those you should feel down or like a "loser". It just makes me mad. Being famous on twitter and instagram all of a sudden makes you a "god" outside of the internet... it is absurd. People make fun of each other because they got 10 likes on a picture rather than 200.. its annoying lol... sorry this really bugs me.
What do you guys think about this?

To be fair everyone wants a chance of being famous and with the Internet anyone can be famous in just a day.

Im lucky to have good ass friends who arent like that, we all have the same mindset (my irl friends) so I dont get judged on that. I never cared about like or favorites or anything
I can say though some people on this site really trip over thanks man, they will do ANYTHING for rep or a thank.. Kinda sad

I don't really see wanting likes as a bad thing.
But being made fun of for not having them? That's dumb.

I see this happen all the time having a teenage step-sister. Without them likes, they feel like their nothing. They need them for some twisted reason, and it's honestly kind of sad.

I completely agree with this post.
I deleted every piece of Social media I have in terms of the main stream ones.
I actually noticed how much stress and arguments it caused and began to look into the psychological side of social networking.
It's strange but i've been happier since deleting all media. I know it's not directly related but if you find yourself obsessing over likes, delete it.
Social media isn't for that, it's for communicating with friends and family, not likes or piss taking.
