You do not have to take the Quran out of context to justify the actions of extremist Muslim groups.
They are Muslims, they just have a different interpretation of the Quran compared to mainstream Islam.
Overall, the Quran is a religious text with lots of inconsistencies and contradictions. I.E: It tells Muslims not to kill, while also telling Muslims to kill.
If these people recognized that a book authored by the most supreme being in existence would therefore be the most supreme book in existence - and wouldn't have silly contradictions - none of this would even be happening.
They are Muslims, saying that they aren't Muslims is a waste of time and isn't solving anything.

France doesn't need your thoughts and prayers. It doesn't need your hashtags or your candles.
It needs you to act and stop voting for war mongering leaders who will indiscriminately bomb middle eastern countries and then act like that isn't the cause of the rise in terrorism.
Terrorism has rose worldwide since the beginning of the war on terror exponentially.
ISIS is still just as strong as they were a year ago despite all of the airstrikes which are supposed to be destroying them, they have actually gained strength and continue to gain strength.
Civilian deaths make more extremists out of otherwise moderate Muslims.
We destroy their towns, kill their friends and families, and expect them to thank us?
But of course, this will just be another one of those events which will be remembered only because it took place on Friday the 13th.
Despite all of the Twitter posts, Facebook groups, and candle memorials, this will not be remembered except on anniversaries and trivia lists.
'France, you are not alone!' France is completely alone right now.
You'll give them your thoughts tonight, but you'll wake up tomorrow and go about your day, just like normal.
It is the fatal flaw of social media. It makes everyone feel so connected and tricks us into thinking that saying your thoughts are with them is enough. It isn't.
If you want to help then start complaining about our moronic leaders, and stop thinking that sharing a memorial picture on Facebook is enough.
The Quran does not tell us to kill.
Under war or if the person committed a crime punishable by death..not just because you dont like a certain people.
This is one misunderstanding that keeps rising up against Islam. Islam does not in anyway allow for the killing of any innocent soul.
5:32. .."If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind"
The term "innocent" has to be considered subjective in Islam when it comes to Sharia law, which is what IS enforces.

London's Gatwick airport has been evacuated due to a 'suspect package' in the North Terminal. Some people suggesting the Police have arrested a man after finding a firearm and explosive device in his possesion but no official confirmation, likely knee-jerk reaction/expectation after Paris' attacks.

Breaking:
The so-called Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Paris.
In a statement published online, the jihadist group said the attacks were designed to show France it remained a "top target".
The group claims it studied the target locations and carried out the attack using "eight brothers wearing explosive belts and carrying assault rifles".

'Innocent' is obviously a very subjective term.
ISIS decides who they see as innocent, and they have deemed the 'oppressive western civilisations' as enemies.
Also, those quotes say nothing about innocent people, they talk about unbelievers and Christians.
That is the Quran marking them as people who are, by definition, not innocent.
The start of your quote explains it all:
"If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land..."
To ISIS, the French attacks are retaliation for murder and spreading mischief in their lands.
The French people elect their leader, the leader decides to bomb them, so they see the French people as responsible.

Now everyone prays for Paris?! When every day hundreds or thousands of people die in war? CREATED from western governments..!! but when it happens to us, it amplifies by 2000 the situation...if you want to pray... then pray for the places in which a 1000 babies die a day. Decapitated (Kenya) or castrated (TIBET) so that this will not reproduce, because for them religion is considered 'dangerous' from the Chinese government.

Your right but the fact is there could have been thousands killed yesterday, three were killed at the football game just imagine they managed to get into the stadium then it would be a disaster.
We don't know much about all them current world issues unless your educated about them, no news or that reports on them as there apparently not relevant but when it does happen in Paris it's televised as its one of the most popular cities especially for people going on holiday.
I can't remember the last time I've spoke to someone who he been to an African country or Chinese country since all this dictatorship has happened.

Not gonna point the finger, but this obviously has come from letting people in from Syria. Terrorists were probably coming in the boat loads with the innocent families.
This just makes me think maybe the UK should leave the EU as we can have much more control over who comes into our country.

Lounge wrote Such a cruel world we live in. Only a matter of time before the UK is targeted. Thoughts are with family of all lost ones.
Luckily for us we have the best or one of the best intelligence forces in the world, for example we were the first to find out about it was a bomb used for the plane over Egypt.
