there are many guides on youtube from the likes of Linus Tech Tips, JayzTwoCents and OC3D to choose from and most have covered whatever CPU you get, but the i3 is locked so no overclocking.

Seriously, if your not contributing to the discussion, leave. Stating such things makes you look very silly.

Zayev wrote this thread....
OP, a Xeon is a high end CPU that is locked, has brilliant per core performance and anywhere from 2 to 18 cores, all Hyper-threaded so for example, 4 core 8 thread, 8 core 16 thread etc etc. They are brilliant at rendering and other cpu intensive work but are locked and usually have a low clock speed, but that is irrelevant tbf.
Also have support for dual CPU's but again, irrelevant.
Not entirely true. Not all Xeon's have HT. The E3-1220 V3 is basically an i5-4440. Also, I'm almost positive you can get unlocked Xeon's, but I'd need to double check that..
Why is this thread still going? OP, you've been helped, loads. There is absolutely no need for flaming topics in this section.
We're not going to be able to sufficiently help you with overclocking by typing out a guide. Depending on what CPU you get, if it's unlocked, just find a YouTube video to help guide you through OC'ing, same for GPU overclocking.
