Hi, can anyone build me a rig. Dont need any peripherals,RAM (8GB Hyperx Fury), or a HDD (I don't have a SSD though). I also don't need any software/ OS
I have a price range of about £600 maybe £700 tops if it adds an essential, not really too bothered on having an SSD or not. Im going to use it to for gaming mainly, however will also do my college work on it too.

Also any advice for black friday and computer parts?

P.S try avoid showing me items from newegg because im from England and the shipping is abysmal

Sufficient power for Xfire(2) 390s, nice SSD for OS and some games, aftermarket cooler

970 option (so the fanboys dont go crazy), nicer aftermarket cooler, can add another 970 in SLI at any point, if you wish

Can save about £50 or so by getting a locked CPU and cheaper mobo but there's nothing really that the £50 would be better spent on, other than an upgrade to a GTX 970/R9 390. 380x should be a great card for 1080p tho. XFire support so can add a 2nd 380x at any point. 500GB SSD will be more than enough for a while. Unlocked CPU so you can OC for a little extra jooce. Nice cooler too. Can spend a bit more on a cooler if you wish.

If you can't go over, drop the SSD or get a 120GB one for the time being.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Thats what I would get. For £700 budget, I wouldnt be going with an i5 when a 4 core 8 threaded CPU is more than fitting in the budget.

Stock cooler will do fine. 1231v3 will help for more demanding games that utilize hyper-threading. SSD for OS and a couple of games. Can add another 390 in XFire if you wish

Locked chip on a z170 board... why? If it's a locked CPU then might as well go for cheaper H board.

Upgrades such as? I would take a Xeon over an i5 any day.
