1.The car looks too flat as if it is just sat on the image.

2.The guys shadow would not go past the tress, surely the tress would block it?

3.The spread of the leaves in the trees would separate the light making it less harsh. Basically his shadow is way too strong, it should be super blurry and spread out like the rest of the shadows on the ground.

4.The guy has some weird spots of light on his head, shoulder and waist. Same with the car.

You changed the lighting of the original and some directions of the tress on the left sure. But everything apart form that doesn't really fit. Try to apply the stuff I mentioned, should begin to make a more effective manipulation.

Just mess around with things, I looked at what you did and decided to give it a go to show you how colour corrections can make it look dull/gloomy to match the scene.

Ignore any shoddy editing, I used the destructive method of cutting/erasing around edges to be quick. Usually, I will use masks and paint areas I don't want visible.
