Is it installed and everything plugged in correctly? Are you using the GPU I/O, as opposed to the I/O on your motherboard?

i thought i had everything plugged in, its light is on but im not sure if that means its necessarily working but i have the hdmi plugged into the motherboard io

Yeah you're gonna wanna not plug it into your motherboard and plug it into your graphics card.

yeah i dont have the cords set up right, i have one sata cord plugged into the gpu and the fans arent on but the gpu light is

SATA cables don't belong in the GPU. You should be using the cables from your PSU labelled "VGA". Display cable should not be in your motherboard, that's why you're using the iGPU. Plug your display cable in to the GPU I/O.

ohhh ok so remove the sata cable with the vga? someone said vga wasnt for my gpu and also put the hdmi to the gpu aswell right?

Yes, the HDMI is the display cable. Connect that to the GPU I/O, that's what it's there for.
I'm assuming by "vga", you mean the cable labelled "VGA" that's coming from the PSU? If so, yes, that's what you use for the GPU. Make sure you're using the 8-pin, and the 6-pin.
