You know, I think a lot of it is how we where raised and how we where taught. Now in school they don't want you to fight, but rather talk it out, get suspended, what ever. If you think about it, what is racist? When someone calls a black person a ******, is that racist? Or is it just a person calling another person what they are? I get called ginger a lot, I don't find it racist, it's who I m and what I am.
You know, what did our grandparents do when they had an issue with someone? Did they try to talk it out and go to an adult, or did they go in the back 40 and kick each others ass? I had a little Mexican kid try to bully me starting in 8th grade, I played the schools game, filing reports, telling adults, etc. This listed until the middle of 10th grade where I put his ass on the floor and never had an issue. If you have an issue with someone, deal with the issue between you two, don't bring someone else into it.
Today we just have a bunch of flower pushing **** foot kids walking around that won't do a damn thing. When people are different, there will be friction, and that friction needs to be worked out, not covered up. Today kids tell adults and hope something gets done. 50 years ago they beat the shit out of each other and it was worked out that day. Bottom line, if you think someone is being racist, confront them about it, show them where you stand and what you feel, and go from there.

Racism in America is the spaghetti junction of debate topics.
The massive amounts of inconsistencies in statistics, polls etc. and the fact that the debate is mostly fought with anecdotes and personal stories make it an almost impossible topic to discuss coherently.
"My broken nose and shattered jaw has opened my eyes to the truth of your position, thank you for showing me the light."
Said no racist ever.

Exactly like at my school where I'm from, the black kids flunk out of school and what not and they get better treatment. Our school is a private school and cost i think like 6k to go to a year and they don't have to pay a single cent. I think that in itself is proving that they get as much as a chance as we do. But no society labels people for all the wrong reasons. With the video I watched if a bunch of white guys jumped a single black guy it'd be on every social media outlet and it'd go worldwide, but no yet again as this topic suggests. Reverse racism. I'm not much of a racist but they shouldn't hypocritical in that sense and society tries to allow them to do whatever they want but a fair few selected few of these 'blacks' (don't know what to call them without being deemed a racist) make the rest look bad, it's as simple as this....
Double standards!

They learned who they can share their opinion with, didn't they?

Sounds like a very American thing to do. Who needs all of that 'freedom of speech' malarky anyway?

*Sigh* You're just trying to argue, aren't you?
In case you really don't understand the concept that worked for many millennium, if you have an issue, you consult the cause of the issue. For example, you call me a cousin fking trailer trash worthless POS redneck and I don't like that, I tell you the truth and where I stand, and if you still want to keep that mentality I will show you that you probably shouldn't tell that to my face unless you can back up your mouth. At the end of the day, you know where I stand, and you will know not to be talking discriminatory crap to me because I will put you in your place.
The **** foot we do things today is if you call me a cousin fking trailer trash worthless POS redneck, I should tell my teacher who tells my counselor and then we sit down and try to work things out which just pisses you off more so you add some more words in there, get suspended, add some more words and get your friends to join in, get expelled, come back next year, more things are said, etc. I been threw this, it doesn't work.

Well if we're having a battle of anecdotes, the method put in place by schools does work because I used it and it worked for me.
I'm not 'just trying to argue.' You're saying things which I disagree with, so I'm going to reply to them, that's what a discussion forum is for.
I'm talking about the broader idea of putting an ideology down with violence, that does not work, look at ISIS if you want proof of that.

Violence can't be stopped and it won't be stopped. Until the day every living organism dies, violence will exist. You can try to patch it up with bandaids as much as you want (todays BS liberal ideology), or you can face it head on like what worked for thousands of years.
I know it's hard to compare yourself to a dog, but really think about this, how do dogs solve conflicts (I.E. two dogs and one toy or one food bowl, water bucket, what ever). They establish dominance. How do they do they? They fight. It's part of nature. Trying to change nature is a horrible idea.

i feel like my high school is very racist.
we have a group of aboriginals that come to our school from further North, and if they do something bad, they just get a pat on the back and thats it, but if the White, or other student's do something bad its far worse.
Seems like they can make racist jokes to white/other and get no consequences
