Nuance is hard amirite??
Where is your source for most mass shootings happening with legally owned firearms?
I never said that gun control is synonymous with gun confiscation. I said that to have the same gun laws that the UK has would require mass confiscation.
I'm not going to do your research for you. Take the time to search it up yourself.
You're the one who made the claim, not me. If you cannot back it up, I will have to assume that you were lying.

You can purchase a gun in America without a hassle. Nearly anyone can. We know this. So lets follow a logical train of thought.
Guns are easy to get --> in fact 11% percent of gun violence crimes are committed from those who directly bought from a store/provider (legally), 37% bought from a friend or family member (legally), and about 40% get them illegally.

There you go. I'm sure this isn't good enough for you though.
Also, it should be pointed out, that those who bought guns all come from the same source. That source is of course, the legal buying of guns.

Not only are your statistics more than a decade old, but they also aren't about mass shootings or gun violence at all.
Those stats were solely about possessing a firearm, not using it.

It's now being reported that the weapons being used were "AK-47 style automatic weapons".
We can pretty much guarantee that they were illegally obtained because getting a FFL is hard as hell.
