I think the bombings are the wrong decision to make in this situation. I believe what we should have chose to do is take the choice the U.S took against Al-Qaeda terrorist group. Their should be an international manhunt until everyone ISIL member is dead (or all high officers killed).

Instead of sending bombs, the money should be spent to rebuild infrastructure such as schools, community centers, hospitals, etc. The kids in these countries have nothing to look forward to in the future other than warplanes bombing buildings/houses near them, soldiers marching through the streets, people dying everywhere, and just trying to survive. What do you think these kids will end up doing in ten years? They constantly see death and war, family members/neighbors are dying, and not a functioning building in sight. Of course they're going to join the local gang (ISIS).
If kids join gangs here because they're mommy didn't buy them a certain phone or they're friends peer-pressure them, imagine a kid over there.
These bombs will solve nothing.

Yes I saw that, a positive I guess. But in my opinion it can't just be bombing alone, the factors I listed previously really should be taken into account by Western governments.
The problem will occur if we start bombing the IS stronghold of Raqqa, that is still home to an estimated half a million civilians. Civilian casualties are very likely in a close quarter city like Raqqa. Also how long until Turkey shoot down an RAF jet for messing up their illegal oil trade with IS?
Again I reiterate that none of the Free Syrian Army are near Raqqa as they are too busy fighting with Assad, and the Kurds are weaker in Syria than in Iraq. Also IS have a vast network of underground tunnels. The Raazf Jets may have accurate Brimstone missiles but I'm sure they don't have missiles that can follow IS underground.
Also have we really been authorised to bomb Syria? Yes MP's succeeded in the vote, but I don't remember a UN resolution being passed or Assad inviting us to bomb in his country

Now let's hope they actually bomb the bad guys (Isis) and not whatever percentage of innocent civilians still living in and around Syria.

The R.A.F have confirmed they have NOT injured or killed a civilian since the started bombing in September.
Other countries (Russia & France) Have injured/killed civilians.

Easy for him to say in he's in a guarded house. The people of Britain did not want this.
You guys do realise, that the individuals responsible for the next attack in Britian, are most likely already here? Bombing does nothing except give ISIS an easier job recruiting people. When we bomb Syria, we will create more refugees and by extension, the possibility of more people turning to ISIS. How did the war in Iraq work out? Can we honestly say that we made a difference there? Because to me, it seems to be worse than it was before we invaded Iraq.
i do see your point, however i have to say.
If we dont take action, how long before we get attacked anyway ?, i know there is no irrefutable evidence to support this but its a matter that will most likely come to pass.
In times gone by we were known as Great britain for a reason, we had one of the worlds largest navy's and didnt get **** with, and on the rare occasion that we did, we destroyed them.
Its got to the point now, where we are too scared of our own shadow, bowing down to make "allowances" for others based on religion or race. Im no racist, in fact im quite the opposite however, i do beleive that If you come to a country, or wish to reside therein you should obey the countries laws, i for one wouldnt visit another country and expect to do what ever i please because im from a country that allows me to do something.
It has got to a point where positive discrimination is a thing, where if you are born male, straight and white, you are actually activley and positivley discriminated against.
I know i veered off a little but it all adds to the point.
The people that are using Islam as a tool for their "war" and to spread fear are people that do not conform to the same laws we do, they dont fight by the same rules and trying to beat people that obey norules or laws will not work.
The only way to beat terrorists, is to fight fear with fear, and as for the Hundreds or Thousands of "innocent" syrians killed in the Bombings, lets hope that the good that comes of this is that they will no longer tolerate Hiding isis members within their boarders for fear of future bombs, harsh i know but its necessary.
You will never get people that fully 100% agree, and we all have our own opinions i do expect to get quite a negative reaction to this however, its my opinion and a growing one amongst people in the UK.

Why is bombing the only solution?
Have you looked at the other choices we have, like the ones BigRedMachine outlined on the first page?
Have you considered that ISIS is fundamentally no weaker now than when the US began their airstrikes in September 2014?
Have you considered that worldwide terrorist attacks and support for extremism has grown fivefold since 9/11 and the beginning of the war on terror?
Fighting fear with fear hasn't worked. We've tried it. It's time to try something else.

Someone said it a page or two back cannot remember but the terrorists planning attacks on the UK will already be here, its a shame how this has all unfolded and if David Cameron wanted to protect his country like he should want to he wouldn't spend this much money when there is other alternatives.

I get your point, the problem is, we "play at" fighting fear with fear, we as a nation and the way the world is today with the Media, are too afraid of our public image and none of the PMs or people in charge want their rep possibly tarnished with bad publicity.
What we need, is somone that doesent care about that, and is willing to do what needs to be done.
Now to quote a movie " Someone must bring their war to them. They bomb a church, we bomb 10. They hijack a plane, we take out an airport. They execute American tourist, we tactically nuke an entire city. Our job is to make terrorism so horrific that is becomes unthinkable to attack Americans."
Now apply this logic to the way ANY country runs, and its a matter of time before the country that hosts the terrorists or extremists would be more scared of us than them, i might be a little biased being an ex soldier my self, however i do 100% believe from seing it first hand the diplomatic way, or burying our head in the sand, isnt the way to go.

So fight terrorism with terrorism?
How does that make us any better than them?
Who would want to live in a society where the reigning ideology stays on top by killing millions of innocent people?
You think that sanctioning Saudi Arabia and Turkey as well as telling the US to not keep selling weapons to untrustworthy groups doesn't take a man who will do what needs to be done?
Those things would take monumental amounts of courage from a leader.
These aren't trivial little diplomatic things which will have no large impact on ISIS.
