A lot of curiosity for this game! I want to buy it and I've seen many videos it looks very interesting. Do you guys have any advice to which edition I should get? Is it good enough for the gold edition or should I should I just buy the standard?

Standard buddy. The servers are flat out crap. Until they fix it, I would get the standard. There are not many gamemodes in the game, it does get dull fast. Takes forever to level up as well, and you're usually with people who have no idea what they're doing, and most of the time no one or at-least a few or one person doesn't have a mic to communicate with the team. A lot of potential in the game, and I've loved it so far.

If it takes you forever to level up you must lose a lot. I got to level 18 within a few hours so it doesn't take long to level at all. Also you mainly need communication to play so that way you actually know where an enemy is much quicker. But no mic is needed as long as the people you are playing with know how to use the cameras to spot the person and if they know how to kill them.

I don't lose a-lot buddy. Usually always the top on my team, whether it be Multiplayer or Terrorist Hunt. It's always my team that loses. And I don't how you got to 18 in a few hours??? Must of had xp boosts, because it's hard to level up in that game. I'm only level 14 and I've been playing for about 3 days now.

Nope, never had an XP boost. I got to level 18 within a few hours because I barely ever lost a game and I was actually good. It doesn't take long to level up at all.

When the game first came out the servers were bad but now they're 100%. Haven't had a server issue for about a week now. That's on Xbox One though, Playstations servers might still suck but that's playstation for ya.

Anyway; to OP: I love the game, always been a Tom Clancy fan though. This game is what Battlefield Hardline tried to do but on a whole other level. It gives a real world sense of cops and robbers. I'm sure you've seen this since you've watched some gameplay but the whole breaking through walls and floors/repelling to the sides of buildings and just breaking in where ever your heart desires, really adds an awesome dynamic to the game, different than any game out right now. In my opinion, the game doesn't get boring until you've unlocked all the characters and played with them for a while (which doesn't take long to unlock them.) Yes it is true that there aren't many game types, but to me it doesn't get repetitive at all because of all the different ways a match can play out. I also think it's worth it to get the gold edition, but that's just my opinion because I'm a big Tom Clancy guy.

Hope that helped!

A lot of guys saying it's hard to rank up. If you lose it does take forever cause the win xp multiplyer is about 3x higher. I love the game it takes the combat gameplay to a way better level. Being able to breach through windows, doors, walls, floors, and having to strategically play out the match. It makes you communicate a lot more or if you don't have a mic you pay attention a lot closer than most games! For the servers, I know they were having trouble at first. They do seem to be a lot better now, although I just have bad connection so it's hard for me to really judge. Now for the gold or regular... I just stuck with the regular edition because the rainbow six games don't add a lot of extras really and I didn't care for them. Person opinion. I did get the edition with rainbow six 1&2 and the gold skin pack for Seige. So pretty much if you have good connection and like strategic games definitely get this!

Also a lot of matches fail to provide XP at all when they're finished due to a bug. This is why some people find it harder to level up than others. I love the game personally, easily in my top 3 of all time but as others have said, they really need to fix the servers!!

What console do you play on? Because me, my buddies, and co-workers are on Xbox One. We haven't had one issue for about a week now. Gotten all deserved XP and haven't dropped out of one match lately.
