Not necessarily, it's probably one of the most optimised mobile operating systems around, although they do release some unstable patches and I'm not a fan of the GUI.

Too many failures!!! IOS is brilliant, and the JailBreak is amazing!
Oh and my android tablet exploded.

In my opinion I would go with the ipad because the new ones have nice displays and are good quality devices for the price.

I'd go with a iPad, I really enjoy apple products minus the bugs here and there but I am getting a IPhone 6s+ soon so iPad

ipad is a lot better, it has a lot more features and is faster then the samsung.

I personally would go for an Ipad because I just like apple products more than android or Samsung.
But Samsung is the better option.
