.44 ammo is one of the rarer ammo types. But just like any ammo it can be found within containers, coolers very rarely, and ammo bins. If you get the perk Scrounger from the luck skill tree it'll make finding .44 ammo a lot easier!

I find it all the time when I purchase from the dealer in diamond city. Granted it's only 30-50 rounds at a time but I he no problem finding ammo. It's the amount I find that is the issue .
