My friend has just started ESO (PS4) and is wondering if you can be a sorcerer that deals damage and also heals.

Is this possible? If so, what do you recommend?

It's possible but you'd be relying on the resto staff almost completely. When you get to the end of the game you may not be able to heal on certain parts of the game effectively enough. Once you've hit verge ran rank the game difficulty increases by a lot more. If you're charactor is still a low level I would make the choice of what you want to do right now rather than regret it later on after you've but a lot of time into it.
