I think this topic is good enough to revive. It's about time I found someone on this site who knows headphones. I have the M50s with a Fiio E5 and and L3 LOD from an old iPod Nano with FLAC on it (Rockboxed). Total cost = $130 without iPod. They put the Beats to shame for less than half the MSRP.

Also, does anyone here actually realize how crappy the Beats actually are? Here, I even ranted about it.
