The people saying "Looks really good.." either have terrible taste in graphic design or are lying to you. Now The people being asses are just being asses.
Im going to offer some constructive criticism, i noticed that what you have done here is simply apply thrausi or some other type of c4d plugin for smashed text. Render it, put a shattered glass or some other type of particle rendered to screen and a light beam/ray (forgot what they're called at the moment)
Now what you can do is
1. lower the light line so its actually on top of the text and doesnt look like it is there for no reason.
2. Put more color and depth into the picture. You can try messing around with color corrections and space renders or just generic background renders to give the subject some dimension as if it is 3d. When i see c4d text i want to see a good looking image with some sort of depth.
3. Put more effort into the overall editing area. You seem to have lazily put these things on there following the tutorial and just wanted to rush the project out. Put time into it. Consult people and see what they think. I believe graphics should be worked on and made to what the user and average fewer will find aesthetically pleasing.

Anyway cc done/ peace :coffee:

People post that shit just to boost their post count you know. It happens all around the forums. I don't think only saying "looks nice good job" etc is a good quality post. There is always stuff they can work on.

Not a fan of this as anyone could follow a tutorial and do exactly the same.
I would try and get your own style, and move the flair and make it darker.

Looks really good man. Just a few things, I know its hard finding the right texture some times but higher res textures will make your text look better. Also, I personally, have always felt a plain black background doesn't suit this sort of design. Maybe a faded textured background of some sort at 10-15% opacity? I dunno, just my own personal opinions.

But other than that, great job man! Keep at it, you're doing awesome.

I don't wanna be a bitch. But when will people learn to do new stuff? I know that I don't do new stuff myself all the time. But I don't follow a freaking 5 year old tutorial, I swear my oldest banners which I made in 2012 looked like this.

Since no one else is telling you, I'll have to tell you.

...so what if he followed a tutorial guys, it looks nice if he's a beginner for semi. Long good man, people these days got time to hate on people success. It's kind of a old thing to do a 'Break Effect' but whatever no hate here. Not sure why people thinks the 'break effect' is a good thing to do.

Giving advice isn't hating. And since this style is really old and outdated, people are telling him that. Because people don't seem to realize that this style has been dead, for like 4 years.

If he's asking for advice, we're giving him advice. In my opinion, I rather get a comment saying that it looks like a dog had **** diarrhea, than ''OMG, this looks so cool dude!! I rate this a 10/10''

Some people do hate on people on how they word it, not actually hate the person. This is what I'm trying to say. I would say the truth about it as well there's no point in lying about what you feel about the design.

ok
