Hi people .
xbox360 slim (corona v2) 4Gb
The problem CPU say 55 degree Celsius, but GPU say 89 and console turn off.
But CPU and GPU placed in one chip. So it's obviously GPU's temperature is broken.
There are similar thread about CPU. The solving problem there was cutting the CPU's trace off on a motherboard.
I think the same stuff can work here.

Can anybody say which trace lead to GPU's temperature sensor?
Thanks in advance guys.

It happen suddenly, not after I flashed new freeboot firmware.
So CPU's and GPU's sensors must have different traces and I can cut GPU's trace off.
As to me it's a perfect option to solve a problem.
Which options and how exactly ?
Sorry about link I forget in my topic above here it is very similar problem

that is on a phat console not sure exactly where that is located on a slim console
under settings in xebuild you can change the settings of when it will over heat not usually recommended but if its set way to low it would turn the console off

people from other forums say it won't work.
I'd like cut the trace off.

Why do you think so ?
Have you ever try fix that issue with GPU via cutting traces off?

Yep. reflow.
Do not fix your devices.
If it one chip and 1 sensor is broken but second is fine I can disable broken one and do not change the APU.
Actually above I gave you link where dude do similar stuff. And I think his experience better than your "I'm sure"
