Well for starters its not cheap to make, im not sure how MK runs but for the most part brands dont use cheap fabrics and the man power behind making products drives the cost. Also brand names and the reputation the brand has built.

Most importantly the quality, this is not a jacket that will fade or or get little cotton balls on it. This is a quality jacket that will keep you warmer than any you know cheap hanes hoodie or whatever.
