My favorite shoe brand of all time is Emerica, but those are skate shoes. I also really like bapestas all the variations are nice
Mostly athletic shorts or jeans, a tshirt or sweatshirt and I wear dark clothes so I would want colorful or a solid color shoe, but not red, I hate red. Also only high tops.
A very common and easily reconsizable brand is Vans, and honestly ive owned many many vans over the years and there is honestly no guess work here. They have an excellent selection and many different designs and colors, of course the hi top versions. So peep these

Also supras are nice if you find the right pair, some can look very bulky and ugly but some are very nice and slender. Also high top air force ones, very simple basic design, classic and always looks good. Once again huge selection in style!

I would have a look at some 'Nike' Shoes, they usually have loads of sick shoes.
