We need to know your budget and currency. 'mid-range' can be many prices.
Also need to know your current specs (use Speccy)

I have new RAM that is 16GB 1866MHz HyperX which isn't currently in the PC.
I'm looking at like £100-130ish

What's the trouble with the one you currently have? Seems daft to spend money on a new motherboard when you aren't really going to be upgrading anything by getting a new one.

I say put the money towards a new gpu. That 760 is definitely dated

No point upgrading motherboard unless it is on a new socket, you won't get much if any improvement whatsoever with a new motherboard with an old CPU.
