and I was wondering if my current pc build would be able to fit and utilize the parts.

My current build (Built in ~2011):
Asus M5A97 MoBo
AMD HD 6800 GPU
AMD FX-4100 3.6 GHz processor
750W PSU (I think )
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB Western Digital 7200RPM HDD

You will also need a new mobo for that CPU.

What is the make and model of your PSU?

No you'd need a different motherboard as the cpus are completely different socketwise and architecture.

You'll want a LGA1150 motherboard for the 4790k

Here's a selection of motherboards that are compatible.

Also with the PSU can you find the make and model along with your case as it may restrict your GPU.

You should note that Skylake (6th generation) isn't too much more than Haswell (4th generation) so if you are upgrading CPU and motherboard completely then you would probably be better off getting Skylake. What is your budget for the upgrades? Also we would need the exact make and model of your PSU as 4Head kindly said

I found out my PSU is a SolyTech 800W (I read that SolyTech is an awful brand but I didnt choose my PSU) and my case is a Thermaltake chaser A21 Mid-size tower.

You may as well get a new build, but reuse your current HDD;

Alternatively, you could swap out the 850 Evo for a 128GB SM951, it is a smaller storage capacity but it is several times faster, if you don't need loads programs and games to be on faster drives for now then this would be the better option..

Really appreciate you taking the time to find all these parts. Would this build be able to run FO4 with max settings at 1080p60fps fairly consistently?

I haven't played Fallout 4 myself, but trust me it would more or less max it out at 1080p.
