If you have to have 100 post then people are just going to post random things just to get to 100 post.
I think you should only have a certain amount of post on the youtube forum or something of that nature.

Report them for spamming and it will be dealt with.

It's not so big of a problem that a measure like that needs to be taken, in my opinion.
You just have to ignore the post and move on, report them if they are in the wrong section - which most of them are if they are anywhere outside of the Youtube forum.

The people who join this site to share their videos and generate a genuine interest and discussion in what they have to offer would be hindered by a rule like that, and it isn't fair to punish the many for the actions of a few.

I totally agree with you man, this happens alot in the "general gaming" section where users will exceed the 20 char limit like youre supposed to but they fill the 20 char with shit like "hope you guys enjoy blah blah blah" and then just leave a link to their video.

First of all that is terrible advertisement and I think is safe to say turns most people off immediately and secondly it make you seem super leechy. But in a different perspective they are doing nothing wrong, I think a new rule like reaching 100 posts would be kind of silly since it would be kind of silly to regulate that and they really arent doing any harm. In ignoring their threads they get pushed off the front pretty quick depending on flow through that section. Although if you see threads that are breaking rules just report them (:

Yes but they would waste time doing so, and either learn what the forums are meant to be or loose interest and not want to waste so much time.

Yes but they can just make a new account. That is why i think there should be a post limit before you can post youtube videos, that would kinda add a "barrier".

I can see where you're coming from man. People making new accounts just so they can advertise. It get's annoying but there's not much we can do about it.

Good point. I report most of the people, but it's gotten to the point where i am just wasting my time because their are so many people.

I just report them as spam if it persists. But i get what you mean. Theres been a few accounts going round lately doing that. But you cant really blame them. There only trying to get there posts/rep up like the rest of us. We just choose not to spam i guess.
