Hey so a few months ago about 5 months ago my pc broke got the blue screen crap, Pretty much my HDD got corrupted. My warranty expire like a month before my computer broke. So i took it to a local/i guess crappy pc place... He charged me like 120$ to fix it & New 1tb HDD. He did fixed it but he installed 32bit and my computers was a 64bit before it broke! He also installed windows 8.1 And i tried installing windows 10 but don't know how to! I tried the USB thing and going on the Microsoft website!

Illegitimate version of Windows. You should just re-install Windows, whichever you prefer.

If your computer previously used a legitimate version of Windows then use the license key (printed on the sticker on your case assuming its shop bought) then that should work. If it doesn't then read the sticker to identify which OS it came pre-installed with.

To upgrade to 10 and your Windows isn't activated you will need to install from disc.
