I've played so much Skyrim over the years. I eventually got bored and decided to start modding it up. My game is no longer an Elder Scrolls game. I don't know how it got like this.

Have you tried roleplaying in the game? I found that was fun and didn't require huge modding to be done, if any at all. Just create a character using in-universe lore as the guide line, with a backstory and everything then play as if you truly are that character. Stop and eat every so often, find a place to sleep every night, don't fast travel, things like that can make it fun.

Yeah I think my Skyrim is just broken, I have more mod files for this than windows has for it to run

I always play Bethesda games as such. ;]
