Basically one day i was using my controller as normal and the next day when i woke up it wasnt syncing to my xbox so i tried everything that was on the xbox support website but nothing happned then i used my samsung phone charger to connect my controll to the xbox after that a control update popped up i thought everything was fine so i clicked on update when it got to about 70% it said update failed and now even when my controll is plugged in with the wire it wont connect. any suggestions?

Try updating it again with an official xbox wire and then hard reseting if not you might need a new controller

Sometimes my controller has problems syncing to my Day One Edition console. I usually just hard reset the console and it works. Turn the console on, then wait like 10 seconds. Then, press and hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds. After you have done that unplug the power supply from the back of the console and wait three minutes. Plug it back in, turn on the console, and that usually works for me.
