No, he didnt patch it. He just didnt implement it in his CFW. The Peek & Poke adds syscalls to the lv2 kernel so that when Geohots CFW is installed it will carry over. And yes you can play backups with this but currently there is not a Backup Manager compatible. There should be within the next 24 hours.

No! You need to go back to the official 3.55 and re-follow my tutorial. You should go from Official Firmware to Peek & Poke to Geohots CFW.

So what exactly does this Peek & poke Firmware do compared to GeoHots? I'm at the User agreement on GeoHots firmware

Just Jailbroke and installed emulators and crap, so I can for sure go online without being banned and host mw2 lobbies when I get bored and so on....
