What am I doing wrong, my PS3 won't download the first file, I renamed it, but I can't figure out what this means,PS3UPDAT.PUP on a thumbdrive at PS3>UPDATE>. Sorry I am a noob, any help would be greatly appreciated.

he means make a folder on your usb called ps3 and then one in that called update, and then put it in there

Hey firstly thanks for the software your ACE bro.
I restored my ps3 back to official 3.55, I then downloaded this link [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Peek & Poke v2. The problem I have is that when I try to update from the official 3.55 it says the system is up-to-date and does not need to be updated.

Anyway I ignored this and installed the Jailbrake Update. I now have the install Package files on my Media Bar. But have no app_home/PS3_GAME/

Is this were I should be at or have I done something wrong.
Your help is appreciated.

do you get banned for going online with the ps3 jailbroken like hosting? or is it u dont get banned..

im talking about like kv's i know thats not for ps3 but for an example every 4 hours u get banned with kv's

There have been no reports of anyone getting banned at the moment. We are not sure how Sony will pursue this and so there are no guarantees that you will or will not be banned.
