I'm looking to purchase a good headset for my Xbox one. My first choice is astro just cause they seem like the best option out there atm.
My question is, what is the best headset from astro? I have no experience with any headsets what so ever so I don't know the general gist of what's best. My main game is BO3. Everyone seems to use the A40s instead of the A50s. Why? Also, should I go for the standard A40s or the A40 TR? I'm completely clueless here. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

If you are gonna waste that much money on a headset just go with the A50's, everyone goes with a40s as far as I know because they are a little cheaper and work the same.

I've owned both pairs and honestly the only reason that people buy the A40s instead is because they're wired and they don't have to worry about charging the batteries but I prefer the A50s because they're wireless and you can go pretty far away from the console with them before the sound cuts out and the battery life is about 9-10 hours so as long as you charge them at night they'll be fine because they can charge without the n=console needing to be on however the only bad thing about the A50s is if you want to talk to someone you need to have a wire that they include that you need to connect to the head phones and then to the controller so they're not completely wireless but I prefer the A50s over the A40s any day also since you wont need to replace them for 3 years or so and if you have the money get the A50s treat yourself a little

Honestly, If you compare the top Turtle Beach headsets to Astro,
They exceed the quality, sound and specs of even the A50's.
I was in the same situation before I picked up my 800x headset.
Fully wireless is truly amazing.
I'd go with the 500x or the Elite 800x by Turtle Beach if I were you.
