I do AR in school and need to reach a certain point goal every marking period. I was wondering if anyone does the same? If so, do you guys actually read or cheat through it? If you had some tips. I usually read all the time but I'm slacking this marking period with 11 out of the 19 points I need haha. I got a few answers to a few books, but if anyone knows certain things, I'd like to know. Thanks guys.

I think I had a thing called SSR (silent sustained reading) and basically it was we read for 15 minutes out of the 55 minute class period YAY READING A BOOK ON INDIA IN ENGLISH CLASS SURE IS LEARNING ((((: and most of the time over the weekend out teacher required us to read X amount of pages for a quiz on monday. Sometimes I read if the book was cool, but im going to be honest there were many times were I just didnt care and didnt read the book at all and just took the zero.

The odds of us reading the same book are slim to none my friend..

I did AR in Elementary school, never after that, and we actually read the books and took the test.

I was never much for reading. I would always just skim through everything. You get the general idea of everything lol. I know how to read and write English, so past Elementary school I never felt a need to excel in the subject.

I had AR back in elementary and high school. I used to just copy down the answers from friends' test and then take them myself.

We did ar and sr.
+ 20 minutes reading out of 55min class.
And sr is just sustained reading which you answer questions on a book in the class itself and not on a website

haha I wish it was this easy, it used to be my freshmen year when there was no password to take the tests but now the teacher has to put in a password and write down what youre reading which kinda sucks.
