This isn't a logo.
I'm not a fan of it either. The red is too bright to go along with the image, in my opinion at least.

Nobody is getting butthurt bud. Instead of saying "No, but this does." Tell him what he could do better! You just posted a picture, instead tell him how you did it and why. That helps someone get better.
