Pandora is currently trading under $10 a share and offers (in my opinion) one of the best platforms for users to stream music. The service requires users to listen to ads unless you opt into their premium service for $5 a month which is pretty competitive considering that Apple charges $10 a month for iTunes radio (please correct me if I'm wrong!). There are a few others out there like Spotify and iheartradio which offer a good deal of competition in this space, but it sounds like iheartradio has blown through a lot of their money creating ad campaigns that haven't yielded very successful returns.

My question is this...

Do you see Pandora dominating this space in the future? It's very plausible that they could be bought by a much larger company as well, but do you feel that they are competitive when compared to other services?

I'm curious to see what you guys think. Your feedback might be some of the best considering the type of people this forum attracts. Can't wait to read your responses!

I most certainly do see Pandora as leading the pack when it comes to streaming music. Especially on the go. Every mainstream entertainment system on Earth has Pandora support for this reason. However I do not view Pandora as a profitable stock. As with all technology, it will be replaced. Even if it maintains it's current position at the top it is not and never will be a huge money-maker.

I use Pandora over all of those. I love Pandora and I see it being used over all of them for a long time.
