Hi everyone. So I'm no computer expert, but I do enjoy me some PC games. So since I received this laptop, it's been great (way better then my HP-Notebook 2000, lol).There has been only one issue, however. With the laptop charger plugged in, I get around 120fps (CS:GO as an example). When i take it out however, it LOCKS at 30. No more, no less. I feel like I've tried everything. I went into the nvidia control panel and put it on high performance, I went into my battery settings and put that on high performance as well, but nothing has helped. Any advice will be greatly appreciated (It has an intel core i5 with NVIDIA Geforce gtx 950m).

I have never heard this problem before but i could suggest is right - click on your desktop > go to nvidia graphics card settings > go to options > and set nvidida power management to maximum! Hope it helped.

Very easy solution.
Background:
When your laptop is plugged in, the "battery plan" is set to high performance which unlocks your CPU, and possibly gpu, to perform at full potential.
But...
When you unplug your laptop it changes the "power plan" automatically to "power saver" which limits your CPU, and possibly the gpu, to save battery.
The Solution
The fix is very simple; goto your start menu/control panel and search "Power options" then switch both plugged in and unplugged to high performance.
