Hello and I was wondering if anybody with good PC knowledge let me know if a GTX 970 would be okay for running games like GTA V, Black ops 3 at 1440p.
The reason I want 1440p is to make my videos look better...
I would very much appreciate if anybody can confirm I could play Black ops 3 Medium-high 1440p!
The current setup im running is
FX 6300
GTX 780
8GB RAM
At the momment I get 25-30 fps on 1440p so is it worth upgrading?
Thanks!

A 970 is definitely capable, but you have to decide if it is worth it just to make your videos look better, the majority of viewers I am sure won't be equipped to see the benefit of 1440p over 1080p so you have to consider that. Personally, I would skip 1440p and go 4k, a 970 can still hold its own, that is if you don't already have a 1440p monitor as you never specified.

I do have a 1440p monitor thats why i never considered 4k but if a 970 can do do it il invest in a 4k monitor.

That'll be fine but unless you plan on overclocking don't waste money on a unlocked processor.

No need to buy an unlocked processor, as you can now bypass the restrictions on them.
