I have script hook mods installed for the pc and i see that an update came out,
last update i went to play and since script hook was not updated yet it kept crashing my gta 5 when i updated it since it still had script hook.
was i doing something wrong? is there any other way around this so i dont have to wait another 3-5 days for them to update the mods? last time i had to reinstall all 60 gigs of gta and download it all again and thta took about 8 hours lol ... not trying to mess up and redo that.
Thanks in advance!

Try deleting and reinstalling the scripthook. Deleting and reinstalling often fixes issues like this.

With ScriptHookV, it disables the game when attempting to play online to prevent people from cheating.
Go into your GTA folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V
Rename the ScriptHookV.dll to something like ScriptHookV.dllTEMP so that it won't load during bootup.
You will now be able to play online and it shouldn't cause you any problems.
