Okay, so I can't be the only one who strongly dislikes the newer CODs because of one thing. The exo/thrust movement. Let me get into details

Black ops 2 was a great game. Great mechanics, graphics. All around well thought out call of duty. Then we get Ghosts. Ghosts was a good game. I highly enjoyed it. I never really played it though because my friends hated it and it was boring to play alone. Then AW comes out. It looked exciting and fun to play via the trailers and reveals. When actually played, the exo movement was way over used. The way people played, their feet never touched the ground. I found that really stupid. Completely took the feeling of call of duty away from the game.

Now Black ops 3 is out. Even though the thrust movement isn't as overused as in AW, it is still stupid in my opinion. I don't like the thrust movement. Black ops 3 is a good game, don't get me wrong, but I feel like it would be a lot better if they went back into Call of Duty's original mechanics.

I get it, Call of duty is moving 'into the future'. But I can't be the only one who has a serious issue with the movement style of the past CODs. I still play the game, but everything has changed in my opinion, and it takes a lot to get used to.

I would rather buy black ops 1 for 60 dollars again rather than buy black ops 3

I really really wanted to like black ops 3 but nahhh, its a dumbed down version of AW and im not feeling it atleast on PC it is with the ability to aim better mid air.

I don't mind it. This is what happens when you have a huge group of people complaining that they are releasing the same game every year and calling it a "copy and paste" game. I give them props for trying. BO3 is a pretty good game. Advanced Warfare tried, but I think that the thrust was too fast and you're able to use it too much. BO3 also stands out by having the specialists, which I find pretty entertaining. MW3 was my favorite, but I don't hate what is out now. It is different. People wanted different. People now don't like different.

I kinda enjoy BO3, it is different but is was good, I can still barely stand over 30 minutes of gameplay though, just not into COD like I used to be.
However I find AW to be complete garbage, could barely stand the game.

What's different from BO3 from other CODs, is that I could play by myself for hours on Mw3 and Bo2, but on this game, I get so bored by myself. I can't really play unless I'm with some friends.

The only actual thrust movement that is in Black Ops 3 is the sliding and double jump. Besides that it is the same. AW was a good game gameplay wise. I dislike it for other reasons.

I don't like the future aspects of the newer games. The movement doesn't take too much away from the original feel of CoD. My issue is that if you are gonna add movements like that, you will need dedicated servers. There is too much server connection isues with the game.
