I've had it for a year, but I am only just now getting to work on it. It's a 1955 Ford Customline. It has a two barrel carburetor, a 3 speed manual transmission that was switched to a floor shifter, and a 292 ci motor, with a nice bad azz rumble that will make the neighborhood shake.

Thanks man. I don't want to do anything with her, just keep it all original. Would like to sell it honestly, get something older. I love 30s-40s fords. If I had the money and mechanical knowledge I'd get a nice 60s-70s MGB or Triumph Spitfire and throw a nice 327, or 454 in it. Something massive, and ridiculous. My dad had a 70s MGB with a 350 V8 when he was younger, he said it would jump 20 ft when you barely touched the gas.

If it were me, and I knew what I was doing, I would also keep it original, keep the value. I'm just clueless when it comes to classic cars if I'm honest! 20ft, damn..

Hell yeah. We just got my brothers car up and running today. It's 5 years older than mine.
It's a 1950 "Shoebox" ford customline with the original flathead V8. Not sure how many cubic inches.

He did a burnout today on accident his first time doing 3 on the tree manual transmission.

If it were me, keep it clean but lower it and turn it into the perfect street cruiser
but then again i would also 4 link the back, blow it and turn it into the ultimate street sleeper....

I love older cars so much! They are just so beautiful compared to the new styles

That car could probably tell some stories. Take care of it. It's going to be hard to keep it nice considering it's your first car. If I were you I would buy another beater and restore that thing. It gets harder and harder to find things like this each year.
Murder that shit out.
