If I reset my router to factory default does it have to be resetup for the internet to work on it? or will it simply reset the settings?
I have no idea what the password is to it and I need to change some things to get an open nat type

It will just set the settings inside the router back to factory settings.
Like the Wireless Channel and any ports you have port forwarded on, will all reset.
The password shouldn't be touched.

Actually I tried every combination of passwords and then I reset it and it defaulted back to admin admin But now I need to try messing with some things to fix black ops 2 pc it always has a lag spike when near enemies and drops from 60 fps to 30fps, and it becomes unplayable it IS NOT THE GPU SO DO NOT ASK. But yeah
