I am in need of a new build and budget is $2500.
What is your budget and currency? $2500 USD
Do you need a monitor? Yes
Do you need a keyboard? No
Do you need a mouse? No
Do you need an operating system? Yes
What will you use the PC for? Heavy gaming and some work in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
This is what i came up with.

This is what I suggest [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Will handle games and pretty much anything you throw at it. Nice 4K panel to go along with the build. Can overclock the i7 if needed, the option is there. SSD for OS and a few games. You can add another 980ti in SLI if needed in the future. As this is all under budget you have money left over to increase storage space with HDD's etc.
$2500 budget and all you suggest is a crappy BenQ monitor... just no. A 4K panel would be better suited. Not much of a helpful input really.

Get your OS from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , or something like that for around $30, don't pay retail price for your OS. Or, just get it for free.
My $0.02;

950 PRO for your OS, 850-EVO for some games and programs, then 2TB HDD for media and what not. The LG monitor you were originally looking at, is pretty good, and supports Freesync, so you can utilise that with the R9 Nano. The 980Ti is better than the Nano, but the Nano is considerably cheaper, and you won't be able to use Freesync with the 980Ti. The Nano isn't a significantly worse performer than the 980Ti anyway. XFire support, so you can easily add another 2 x Nano's at any point, if you wish. You could even manage to get 2 x R9 Nano's within budget if you wanted.
