That body style is around in junk yards in my area, I think your cheapest option would be get a new bumper and get it painted. The paint will run between 300-500 dollars. Yeah, one could try and fill that in with epoxy and paint it, but you will always see where the hole was, it looks like that is plastic. Plastic is not easy to make look like it was never broken. From what I can see online, they will charge you about 300, so on the cheap end you'll be looking at 600 dollars to repair that.

When you get this painted, put it on your car and tell the shop you want a 60% over spray. They will spray a little onto your car so it looks like it is original. The paint on any old vehicle is faded, so it is near impossible to match. The cheapest way is just to over spray on the car to match part of the car to the replacement part, and fade into the original color and no one will notice.

Get a bumper from a junkyard and do a little DIY painting.


Bumper shouldn't be that expensive and you can color match paint for a reasonable price, might even get lucky and find a car at a scrappers in the same color so you don't have to paint.

If you really wanna go the cheapest route you can bondo it then sand it then paint it.

002 Just trying save him/her a hassle. They V6 engines for this year are JUNK. Bad performance and they all break down alot more than the v8. You can find V8s for like 5k. Its not that expensive.

It's all in how the engine was cared for. To be completely honest with you, I haven't head of a major issue for the 99-04 V6's...

Again, V8's use more gas, and cost more to insure. Not everyone is about speed, hell I'd rather a V6 over a V8. They both get up to the legal speed limit and that's all you need.

1. Who cares about fuel economy when you're driving something you love
2. If you are worrying about insurance and fuel economy don't get a damn mustang then, get something like a civic.
