Hi,
I will start by saying I am 17, I know this is odd to some people as a lot of you would have gotten jobs at a younger age, however I never felt the need to start earning a bit of moolah.
I am excited but extremely nervous about starting my job on Monday, I will be working in a Land Rover/Range Rover and Jaguar dealership but in the back working on the cars.
Any tips from anyone currently working or working in this area would be amazing if you have any.
This is a huge step for me going from being lazyish to having a job so yea, thought I'd share it.
Thanks

This is your first job but you're starting with working on the cars?
Either way, just arrive on time, dressed for the job, etc... Most people are going to tell you the same thing. Just don't do anything that you wouldn't want an employee of yours to do or say.

Congrats, that's pretty insane, age 17 and working for a car dealership. GG on your job
Tips!
1. Be confident in what you need to say to customers
2. If you don't know of a question ask your business team
3. Dress smart like any job you would attend to
4. Body language > Good eye contact, shake hands etc..
5. Just be you and go for it, you would be nervous it's your first time in a job at a young age
6. Time Management, arrive on time at work so you don't get the sack,

Hahah yes! I have been working on family cars for years which happen to be Land Rovers, also I have been studying Mechanical Engineering for the past year so hoping that will help too.

Thanks for all the advice guys
Luckily (I hope) I've known the manager for a while through my parents so it may be good, however I don't want to let my parents down so I will use all the advice you are giving. I think mainly being vocal and understanding what he wants me to do will be key.
