Hi I am fairly new to the PC gaming world and I am looking for a half decent headset, Can you adjust the chat volume on Skype and also adjust the sound of the game you're playing?. If so I am after a headset that can do that.

The Siberia Elite V2's are good
Logitech's headsets. e.g i think its G430
You can change your skype send and recieving volumes in skype audio setting so that problems solved:)
I dont know if i should reccommend Astro's line of Headsets like the A40's and 50's because the price is a little high but you could consider buying just the headset to lessen the cost.

I bought these today and got them today, I must say they are pretty damn good for the price and the price itself isnt too bad. On sale for 90 USD I ended up paying 106 and im fine with that price tag. Surround sound, noise canceling earphones, removable mic, you have a 2 cords so you can actually unplug this from your PC and use this headset as music listening headphones. Bass is nice, highs are crisp. Leather (idk if they are real) ear cups and they come with a pair of cloths ones too, aluminium frame and super light weight, been wearing for about 3 hours now and I cant even tell they are on. Its plug n play so no downloading software or any of that shit and yeah I must say im happy.
