Hey guys,

So, I am in College right now ,and did not bring my Desktop. However, I did buy myself an Alienware Laptop to continue my normal gaming routine. I know enough for Desktops but not nearly enough for Laptops. I was curious to know if my laptop could run GTA:V and Fallout 4?

My Specs:

8GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 965M 2GB GDDR5
Intel Core i5-6300HQ says 2.3GHz but with Turbo Boost I hit up to 3.2GHz(tested with CPU-Z)
Windows 10
1 TB Hard Drive

You'll be able to play some stuff but not at high settings i'd imagine. Intel SpeedStep will increase the clock speed based on temperature.

You won't be running them too well, maybe playable if you lower the settings, but not great.

Ah, that's all I needed to know. Might just just have to play them on my desktop when I go back home.

Depends on the resolution you're playing at. You'll be able to play Fallout 4 at high settings, 1080p, between 30 and 60FPS. You could probably even turn it up to ultra, but you'd fall below 30FPS I'd think. I'd assume for GTA V, you'd be looking at medium settings with some things turned up to high.

As stated in the previous post, I dont know much about gaming laptops ,therefore I went with Alienware. Alienware is known for being a gaming laptop (at least for me it is) thats why I chose it.
