There is 3 yellow wires and 3 black wires with a red and a blue. Does it matter if the yellow and black match to the power block from the 8 pin (6 & 2) plug, not the outlet plug?
Y to Y times 3
Blk to Blk times 3
Red to Red times 1
Blue to Blue times 1
Power Plug Cord + (Power Converter Block with 8 pin Cord and female outlet on opposite side) + Xbox 360
I need to rewire/splice the middle part above. Photo link below.

since your pic doesn't work
yellow to yellow 12V
Black to Black is Ground
RED to RED is 5v
Blue to Blue is power enabled
need to make sure you check your voltages to this to make sure there correct
it does matter that these are correct voltages or you could do some major damage. wires may not match color wise but you need to make sure they are correctly wired so you do not burn down or short anything out in your home electrical or hurt yourself power bricks have capacitors they store electricty and can still shock you or hurt you badly make sure someone helps you with this when doing it ,
6 and 2 in this pic
6 is ground black
and 2 is 5v red
